  • Officer reprimanded for improperly accessing data

    The Lethbridge Police Service has reprimanded an officer for improperly accessing information within a police database.

  • UPDATE: Missing male located

    Alexander Hamilton, 32, previously reported missing from Chinook Regional Hospital, has been located. He was safely taken into custody and returned to hospital. 

    Police thank the media and public for sharing the message. 

  • Police execute dozens of warrants, lay numerous charges during targeted enforcement project

    Lethbridge Police and Alberta Sheriffs collaborated during a targeted enforcement project downtown that resulted in dozens of warrants being executed, 27 criminal charges, a missing youth located, stolen property recovered and 50 doses of deadly fentanyl removed from the street.

  • Traffic stop results in seizure of drugs and weapons

    Lethbridge Police have charged a 38-year-old male following a traffic stop that resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine and numerous weapons, including a shotgun.

  • Police seeking public assistance to identify assault subject

    Lethbridge Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an unknown female in connection with the assault of an employee at a northside store.

  • Two people charged in downtown break and enter, investigation ongoing

    Lethbridge Police have charged a male and female in connection with a break and enter at a downtown business earlier this week.

  • Victim/Witness Services recruiting volunteers

    The Lethbridge Police Victim/Witness Services Unit is seeking community heroes – no cape required – to be there for people during some of their darkest days.

  • Police charge male with sexual assault, mischief

    Lethbridge Police have charged a 41-year-old male with sexual assault, uttering threats and a dozen other offences stemming from a series of out of control parties at a west side home.

  • Police participating in a training exercise

    The Lethbridge Police Tactical Team will be participating in a training exercise along the 3800 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South. 

    Tactical Team members and police vehicles, including the armoured rescue vehicle, will be visible in the area from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. but there is no risk to the public.
