Police seeking public assistance to identify robbery suspect

Lethbridge Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a female suspect in connection with a robbery.

On April 16, just after 5 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at Fas Gas along the 400 block of Stafford Drive North. Investigation determined an unknown female was observed concealing merchandise and was confronted by the clerk. The female subject became agitated and as the employee proceeded to walk away, the subject attacked her from behind and violently assaulted her.

The subject is described as an Indigenous female, approximately 30-years-old. She was wearing a grey plaid coat, with a black long sleeve shirt underneath, grey pants and black shoes.

Anyone who recognizes the subject is asked to call police at 403-328-4444 and reference file 24006824.

Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at www.p3tips.com or by calling 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 cash for information leading to an arrest.
