Police seeking assistance to locate cell phone in connection with murder investigation

Lethbridge Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a cell phone that may have been thrown into the bed of a truck following the murder of a 34-year-old woman.

On December 28, 2024, police responded to a homicide at a southside motel after the body of 34-year-old Christina Webber was located inside a ground floor room. Two males and a female have been charged with first degree murder and remain in custody.

As part of the ongoing investigation, police believe a cell phone connected to the homicide may have been thrown into the bed of an unknown truck that was parked nearby in a private lot belonging to the Henderson Estates condo complex along the 2200 block of 8 Avenue South. The parking lot is located on the west side of the property. An aerial photo of the lot is included for reference.

Police are asking anyone with a truck who lives in the building or was visiting, and parked in the lot between December 26 and 28, 2024, to check their truck bed. If a cell phone is found, do not touch it and call police immediately at 403-328-4444. Please reference case number 24025352.

Additionally, if someone previously located the phone in their truck bed and discarded it, or still has it in their possession, please contact police.

Police thank the public in advance for checking their vehicles and coming forward if the cell phone is located.

No further information will be released.
