Police remove hundreds of doses of deadly drugs from the street
Lethbridge Police have seized hundreds of doses of fentanyl and methamphetamine after apprehending a male openly using drugs on a downtown street.
On September 10, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the Downtown Policing Unit located a male in the 500 block of 8 Avenue South using a crack pipe with one hand and holding a significant quantity of fentanyl in the other. During a search incidental to arrest, the male was also found in possession of methamphetamine and a utility knife. In total, police seized 418 doses of fentanyl and 169 doses of methamphetamine, removing the deadly drugs from the street.
Tazzmaine Terance Junior Good Dagger, of Lethbridge, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of failing to comply with the conditions of an undertaking stemming from a previous prohibition to possess any edged weapon or knife.
Good Dagger is currently in custody awaiting a Judicial Interim Release hearing.
