Lethbridge Police hosting 2nd Annual "Truck or Treat" event
After receiving g-rave reviews from the little ghouls and goblins who joined us last year, the Lethbridge Police Service is pleased to host its 2nd Annual “Trunk or Treat” event this coming Halloween.
Police vehicles will be decorated and waiting at the following two locations:
- The boat launch parking lot at Nicholas Sheran Park just off McMaster Boulevard
- The parking lot of the Logan Boulet Arena along the 1300 block of 8 Avenue North
Uniformed officers volunteering their time will be ready to distribute candy starting at 5:30 p.m. until the treat supply runs out.
“This event is such a great way to build relationships with our youth,” notes Cst. Christian Olsen, one of the event organizers. “We’ve bought more candy to prepare for this year and we’re really looking forward to seeing some cool costumes and connecting with community members – both those we met last year and, hopefully, some new faces this year.”
While “Trunk-or-Treat” is intended for younger children, all youth are welcome to join us for this family-friendly event.
