Pay Duty Officers
Individuals, groups or organizations planning a special event are able to request a Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) Pay Duty Officer. Paid for by your organization, these officers provide a police presence and ensure the safety and support of events such as concerts, sporting events, traffic control, road construction, festivals, wide load escorts, film shoots, etc....
To book a pay duty with LPS, fill out and submit the form linked below. We will be in touch with you to further explain the process.

- Requests should be received, at least, 15 business days in advance of the event
- The LPS cannot guarantee officer availability for all requests
- Partial hours are billed at the full hourly rate
- The LPS reserves the right to determine the number of officers required for an event based upon a risk assessment
- LPS will provide Pay Duty Officers once all parties agree and officers are available to fulfill the request
